"The Belmond-Klemme Community School District is committed to excellence and life-long learning For All!"

 Superintendent Larry Frakes
A note from Larry Frakes
Superintendent of Schools

Our district exemplifies excellence in education and adheres to a strong set of academic standards. Student performance is measured every year and critical skills have been identified for every grade level. We believe that all students can and will learn.

Our school district supports the neighborhood school concept with staff and parents encouraged to work together in a site-based leadership capacity. Belmond-Klemme Schools encourages and provides great opportunities for interaction, goal setting and improved program activities between school, parents and community members.

The district is rich in co-curricular offerings. Fine Arts, Clubs, Student Organizations and a full slate of athletic offerings are available to students. A strong, competitive inclusive environment provides for an exciting and rewarding experience for all.

We encourage you to browse through our web site and look at our schools and programs. We hope your interest will be piqued and your questions will be addressed.
